Patient Reference Group



About Us

A Patient Reference Group (PRG) is a selection of patients and practice staff who meet at regular intervals to decide ways of making a positive contribution to the services and facilities offered by the practice to the patients.

The purpose of a Patient Reference group:

The Original PRG was established in October 2007.
Currently there are 15 members, ages ranging from 39yrs to 80 yrs.
The PRG aims to be representative of the practice population. Key practice demographics are considered in the make-up of the patient group and will relate (but not be confined) to:

The PRG is representative of the registered patients and where a category of patients is not represented, steps have been taken to engage with those patients;
The practice and participation group have made a great effort to ensure that the group is representative of the local population.
